Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-24. This is a starting template — review with legal counsel before launch.
Acceptance
By creating an account or using V1be Check, you agree to these terms.
The service
V1be Check scans the code you submit and returns an automated launch-readiness assessment — a verdict, a Ship Score, findings, and fix prompts. It is informational and not a guarantee that your app is secure, compliant, or launch-safe. The scan is automated and may not detect every issue: missing, broken, or insecure code can pass without being flagged (false negatives are possible), and a clean result is not a certification. It is not a substitute for a professional security, legal, or code review. You remain responsible for your own application.
Acceptable use
Only submit code you own or are authorized to scan. Do not use the service to violate any law or third-party rights, or to probe applications you do not control.
Your content & uploads
You are solely responsible for the code, repositories, and files you submit (“your content”). You represent that you own your content or are authorized to submit it, and that submitting it does not violate any law, contract, or third-party right. You grant V1be Check a limited license to access, copy, and process your content only to run the scan and return your results; uploaded archives are deleted after the scan completes. We are not responsible for your content or for any consequence of you submitting it.
Billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing settings in your dashboard.
No warranty & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that a scan will identify every — or any — security vulnerability, bug, legal gap, or other issue in your code.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, V1be Check is not liable for any vulnerabilities, bugs, data loss, downtime, legal exposure, or other damages arising from issues the scan did not detect, from your reliance on its output, or otherwise from your use of the service — including direct, indirect, incidental, and consequential damages.
